Teachers and doctors in Barcelona have launched a strike and series of mobilizations this Friday, March 20, to demand better working conditions in the public sector.

The protest is causing significant mobility issues across the Catalan capital. Since early morning, traffic cuts have been reported at several main entrances to Barcelona, coinciding with walkouts at schools and health centers.
The Metges de Catalunya union organized a march starting at 10:30 AM from Hospital del Mar. This demonstration, marking the second day of medical strikes this week, is set to end at the Parliament of Catalonia.
Both education and healthcare protesters plan to converge at the Parc de la Ciutadella. Their goal is to deliver their formal demands directly to political representatives at the legislative building.
