Double nomination for 'El sueño de Aylan' at Barcelona Indie Filmmakers Festival

The film adaptation of Josan Bailac's novel competes for Best Picture and Best Director at Barciff.

The feature film El sueño de Aylan has secured two nominations for Best Picture and Best Director at the Barcelona Indie Filmmakers Festival (Barciff) this February in Barcelona.

Directed by Álex Agüera and based on the novel by Josan Bailac, the movie was filmed in Huesca. The cast features Anna Otín, known for her role in Alcarràs, alongside Neus Asensi and Claudia Bolte. The story follows a young boy in 1990s Tuscany who dreams of playing for the football club Fiorentina.

The production team, including Mortadelia and Apocalipsis, plans to showcase the film at various international festivals, such as Galacticat in Tàrrega and events in Brooklyn and Melbourne. The film has already been subtitled in English to facilitate its international journey.
