Those affected have formed a platform to defend their interests and have hired legal counsel to request compensation for material, moral, and economic damages. The main goal is to establish a negotiation table to set a framework agreement for all victims, including those who have detected new cracks or vibrations in their properties.
In parallel, the Generalitat has announced the return schedule for several apartment blocks. Tenants on Rubinstein street will be able to return next week, while residents on Sant Gervasi de Cassoles street will follow the week after. According to official forecasts, 60% of the families evacuated on July 7 will have been able to return home within fifteen days.
Regarding economic measures, an emergency aid line has been activated with monthly advances ranging from 1,200 to 2,000 euros, depending on each family's situation. However, 35 homes still lack a fixed date for the return of their occupants.
