The Lleida City Council has created an expert committee to analyze and propose strategies for citizen security situations, such as the recent disturbances at Parc sobre les Vies.

The committee consists of about ten people, seven of whom are external experts from fields such as law, technology, and sociology. The main objective is to gather reflections to adopt new strategies and implement effective measures.
Mayor Fèlix Larrosa indicated that elements like street security cameras may not be sufficient without proper management. He also announced that the City Council will formally join the prosecution against the individual arrested for several robberies and arsons in the Horta area, following his recent release.
