Emma Carrasco Secures Silver in 400m Medley at Spanish Championships

Swimmer Emma Carrasco Cadens, representing Club Natació Sant Andreu, earned a silver medal in the 400m individual medley yesterday at the Spanish Open-Junior Championships held in Sabadell.

Carrasco finished with a time of 4:43.33, trailing winner Alba Vázquez, who clocked 4:38.16. Maria Santana took the bronze medal with 4:48.47. Despite qualifying third in the morning heats, Carrasco improved her performance in the final to secure second place.
Additionally, Jordi Carrasco claimed third place in the 100m butterfly Final A. His time of 53.18 meets the minimum requirement to compete in the upcoming European Junior Championships in Berlin.
