The city of Esplugues de Llobregat celebrated a historic double victory in the Barcelona Collegiate Cup, with Garbí Pere Vergés and INS Joanot Martorell winning their respective finals.

In the women's final, Garbí Pere Vergés defeated Front Marítim with a 53-41 score. Their high-pressure defense was key to securing the school's first-ever title in this competition. Meanwhile, the men's team from INS Joanot Martorell overcame Claret Llops in a thrilling 61-57 comeback victory.
Both champions have now secured their spots in the Catalonia Collegiate Cup semifinals. The tournament continues this week in Maresme, Vallès, and Andorra to determine the final regional winners before the grand finale in Manresa.
