Família Torres offered an oenological journey across territories and generations, from Penedès to Chile, during an exclusive tasting held on Tuesday, February 4, 2026, within the framework of the Barcelona Wine Week.

The Director of Innovation and Sustainability, Mireia Torres, a member of the fifth generation, along with the winery’s sommelier Sergi Castro, led the presentation of a selection of wines reflecting diversity, family tradition, and a commitment to innovation. This selection included references crafted by both the fourth and fifth generations.

"Carrying the Torres surname is not a privilege; it is a shared responsibility between generations: honoring what we have received and transforming it so that it continues to make sense in the world to come."

The journey began in the Vall del Salnés with the wine Blanco Granito 2023, inspired by ancient Roman granite vats, and continued in the Conca de Barberà with Milmanda 2022, the result of Miguel A. Torres’ (fourth generation) commitment to Chardonnay in the seventies. The tasting then jumped to Chile with Escaleras de Empedrado 2018, a limited production Pinot Noir that underscores the family's pioneering vision in the Andean country.
Returning to Catalonia, attendees tasted Mas de la Rosa 2021 (Priorat), a personal project of the fifth generation, and Pago del Cielo 2020 (Ribera del Duero). The tasting returned to Penedès with Jean Leon Vinya Le Havre 2021, a tribute to the pioneering spirit of Ceferino Carrión (Jean Leon), maintaining an elegant and classic style.
The journey concluded with two Penedès icons: Mas La Plana 2019, born from the nonconformity of Miguel A. Torres when planting Cabernet Sauvignon in the sixties, and Grans Muralles 2020, which champions the recovery of ancestral varieties at the foot of the Prades mountains, thus closing the history built and shared across generations.
