More than 114,000 members of FC Barcelona are heading to the polls this Sunday, March 15, to elect the president who will lead the club for the next five years.

The election features two main contenders: Joan Laporta, seeking to maintain his current leadership, and Víctor Font, who promises a complete structural overhaul. Voting stations opened at 9:00 AM and will remain active until 9:00 PM across several locations including Barcelona, Girona, and Andorra.
The final hours before the vote were marked by legal disputes. Laporta's team accused Font of violating election rules by sending emails to members during the reflection period. Meanwhile, Font criticized the use of club facilities and official imagery by the opposing campaign, leading to an official warning from the club's administration.

"Víctor Font's emails during the day of reflection are a clear campaign act; the electoral regulations and statutes have been violated."

The main voting hub is located at Camp Nou, hosting 110 of the 122 total polling stations. High-profile figures like Lamine Yamal and Samuel Eto'o have publicly voiced their support for Laporta as the club prepares for a historic turnout.
