Residents and tourists in Barcelona can enjoy free access to a wide range of museums and cultural sites this Sunday, March 1st, as part of the monthly open doors initiative.

Key highlights for this Sunday include the Picasso Museum, the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC), and the Mies Van der Rohe Pavilion. Visitors are advised that several venues, such as the CCCB, require mandatory online booking in advance to secure a spot.
The Barcelona History Museum (MUHBA) will also open its various locations, including Plaça del Rei and the Roman Sepulchral Way. Most sites will be open from 10:00 AM, providing a unique opportunity to explore the city's heritage from Roman times to the present day.
While most centers offer free entry all day, some like the Maritime Museum start their free hours at 3:00 PM. Notably, the MACBA remains the exception, offering its free admission sessions on Saturday afternoons instead of Sundays.
