Pisarello secured 68.6% of the votes, defeating the alternative candidacy of writer Bob Pop, who obtained 27%. The victory marks the beginning of the party's campaign to reclaim Barcelona City Hall.
“"We want a brave and transformative candidacy, for a Barcelona at the service of everyone and not just a few."
The results will be made official on February 23. Barcelona en Comú is the second party to define its candidate for 2027, following ERC's confirmation of Elisenda Alamany.
