Guardia Civil asks Judge Pedraz for information on PSOE and PSC contracts with Iki Group

The UCO suspects irregular economic operations and requests contracts and invoices from the communication agency with the socialist parties.

The Central Operative Unit (UCO) of the Guardia Civil has requested Judge Santiago Pedraz to ask the communication agency Iki Group Communications S.L. and its associated companies for contracts made with the PSOE and PSC between 2024 and 2025, following a nearly 20,000 euro invoice.

UCO agents suspect that irregular economic operations may have occurred between the socialist parties and the business group. The judicial request comes after detecting an invoice of almost 20,000 euros paid by the PSOE through an advertising agency for PSC and Salvador Illa banners during a 2024 election campaign, a fact that has generated interest from the Guardia Civil.
Investigators consider it "necessary to delve into the economic operations" that the PSOE and PSC might have maintained with the Iki group's companies. This holding company, which has billed over 20 million euros in the last five years to various Catalan entities and administrations, includes companies such as Iki Group, Iki Media Solutions, Iki Media Communications, Fischerman, and Pavlov, SL.
The request for information is part of several pieces of the case's investigation. A journalist from Crónica Libre testified to the Guardia Civil that the newspaper received advertising from "a Catalan company" and from the "Salou City Council" in relation to the FITUR fair, highlighting an invoice of 18,125 euros from IIki Group Communications dated May 2024 as one of the main incomes.
The Guardia Civil maintains that Crónica Libre allegedly served to undermine the prestige of the UCO and the judges and prosecutors investigating the PSOE and its inner circle. Now, investigators want to obtain all accounting, financial, and tax information regarding the dealings of the Iki Group with the PSOE and PSC during the fiscal years 2025 and 2026, including contracts, invoices, and justifications.
Judge Santiago Pedraz will have to decide which of the UCO's requests he authorizes to "clarify" the relationship between the political formations and the communication agency. The Guardia Civil has also requested the movements of three PSOE current accounts.
