Barcelona Firefighters are maintaining a permanent inspection team at properties affected by the cavity that opened in an interior courtyard on Rubinstein street, in Sarrià – Sant Gervasi. This municipal corps has assisted 66 residents in entering their homes to retrieve personal belongings, as well as technical staff from the construction project with inspections of ground floors, commercial premises, and basements in the area.
The Center for Urgencies and Social Emergencies of Barcelona (CUESB), along with services from the Generalitat, continues to operate a citizen support point at the Vil·la Florida civic center. This intervention and psychological support team assisted 17 people the previous day, addressing queries about insurance or property matters. The center is open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Mayor Jaume Collboni met with merchants and representatives from the Sant Gervasi Market to understand their needs and express the support of the Barcelona City Council. Specialized personnel from Barcelona Activa will participate in informational meetings to advise the affected local businesses.
