Retired cabinetmaker Jordi Llorens, aged 90, has become a cultural authority in Barcelona through his dedication to collecting and researching Catalan ceramics during his retirement years.

Born in 1935, Llorens spent his career at the helm of his family's 180-year-old woodworking business. After retiring at 66, he turned his attention to the study of antique ceramics from Catalonia, Valencia, and Aragon, transforming a lifelong interest into scholarly expertise.
