The president of ERC, Oriol Junqueras, issued a firm warning to Salvador Illa's government this Saturday in Barcelona, making budget support conditional on Income Tax (IRPF) collection.

Speaking at the 95th anniversary of the party, Junqueras emphasized that ERC remains committed to securing fiscal sovereignty. He stated that the party's past experiences, including imprisonment, have prepared them to resist political pressure during negotiations.

"If prisons did not break us, no pressure will break us either."
