The Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls has launched a new digital platform integrating its historical archive and an artificial intelligence system, aiming to preserve and disseminate its documentary heritage.

The initiative, unveiled this Saturday, June 13th, at the 'colla's' headquarters, coincides with the celebration of its space's 44th anniversary. This platform goes beyond a simple website, serving as a collective project for both those wishing to discover the history of the Colla Joves and its members.
The project is built on three fundamental pillars. Firstly, a proprietary artificial intelligence system, trained with historical sources from the 'colla' itself, capable of answering queries about its trajectory. Secondly, the digitization of the historical archive of the CJXV, cataloged according to NODAC archival standards and equipped with an advanced search engine. Finally, the platform includes a comprehensive 'casteller' database documenting all 'diadas' and performances, with their 'fixa' and photographs.
The new platform is now accessible via the website collajoves.cat, highlighting the CJXV's rich documentary heritage and its embrace of technology.
As part of the 44th anniversary celebration, a 'Diada Castellera' will take place on Saturday afternoon at 5:30 PM in the courtyard. The CJXV will perform alongside the Castellers de Barcelona, Castellers de Sants, Minyons de Terrassa, and Moixiganguers d’Igualada.
