The Congrès neighborhood in Barcelona will celebrate its 2026 Festival between October 3rd and 11th. The program includes a variety of events such as concerts, painting exhibitions, dance performances, various workshops, games, activities specifically designed for children, and popular meals.
The central hub of the celebration will be Plaça del Congrés, where most activities will take place. The complete program, which will be updated, features established events like the 'correfoc' (fire run) and the traditional 'milla del Congrés' race, with registrations planned for Saturday, October 5th, at 5 PM in the same square.
Among this year's notable concerts are performances by Jester and 7 de copes, as well as nights dedicated to electronic music with DJs.

Saturday, October 4th, will begin with a historical itinerary at 10 AM, followed by children's activities in the afternoon and a 'correfoc'. The evening will feature concerts by Jester and 7 de copes.
Sunday, October 5th, kicks off with a 'musical wake-up call' by the trabucaires of Sant Antoni, the opening speech by Montse Blasco and Joana Garcia, a 'diada castellera' (human tower performance), and a popular 'botifarrada' (sausage feast). The afternoon will be dedicated to celebrating the festival's 40th anniversary, with a memory mural and idea collection for future editions.
Other activities include a table tennis tournament on Monday the 6th, cinema on Tuesday the 7th with the screening of Hierro 3 at the Centre Cívic Can Clariana Cultural, and a children's day at the amusement fair on Wednesday the 8th. On Thursday the 9th, there will be a concert by the municipal band in Plaça del Congrés.
The festival's final stretch includes a chocolate tasting on Friday the 10th, a festive 'cercatasques' (bar-hopping route), a choral concert, and a youth night with DJ Sendo. Saturday the 11th will feature a chess tournament, a parade with 'batucadas' (percussion groups) and giants, vermouth, a puzzle contest, a foosball tournament, and night concerts with Spoty Flight, PD Super3, and PD Camila.
Sunday, October 12th, will conclude the festival with the 28th Congrès Urban Mile and 8th 5Kongrés race, musical theater with Sister-act, an 'allioli' (garlic mayonnaise) contest, a popular 'costellada' (rib feast), musical bingo, sea shanties with the group Mestre d’Aixa, and a fireworks display in Plaça del Congrés.
