The seventh edition of the event, promoted by the humor-specialized bookstore La Llama Store, consolidates its format to showcase and boost the Catalan creative and artistic scene. The festival will take place in two key venues in the Sants neighborhood: Cotxeres de Sants and La Lleialtat Santsenca.
The festival will offer around fifty activities, including unpublished premieres of stand-up comedy shows, talks, podcasts, series, short films, and documentaries. Among the 120 participating artists, there will be figures from the Catalan scene such as Arnau Garcia and Beñat Iturbe, and leading companies like La Calòrica, Vengamonjas, and ImproBarcelona.
The festival brings together 120 artists from Barcelona and across Spain, alongside some international guests, in fifty activities covering all genres of humor.
Highlights include the return to the stage of writer and director Carlo Padial after five years, and the first performance in Barcelona by Scottish comedian Eleanor Morton. There will also be a special conversation with the creators of the emblematic political satire program Polònia, celebrating 19 years, featuring Elisenda Pineda.
The edition concludes with the presentation of the La Llama Comedy Awards, the only accolade recognizing humor professionals, alongside activities such as an exhibition by visual artist Noquedatinte and a talk on humor and gastronomy led by Mikel Iturriaga (El Comidista). Six-day passes (160 tickets available) are already on sale.
