The La Seu d'Urgell City Council confirmed this Wednesday its participation in the Caravan of Kindness, a humanitarian mission delivering essential supplies to Ukraine during the war's fourth anniversary.

The local government has donated 800 euros to sponsor one of the 15 ambulances in the convoy. Pere Mentruit, a member of the Municipal Solidarity Council, will drive the vehicle from Barcelona to Odessa to deliver medical equipment and generators.

"We are going there to be present, to listen, and to say with our presence that they are not alone."

The project is organized by the Santa Clara Convent Foundation and led by Sor Lucía Caram. Additionally, the Bishop of Urgell has offered the Diocesan Seminary facilities to host Ukrainian youth for social integration and support during the conflict.
