The new social revitalization service provides a program of socio-educational activities, inclusion initiatives, and community work, targeting all audiences, with a special focus on the most vulnerable groups. The program incorporates a gender perspective, promotes environmental respect, and combines land and marine activities, prioritizing sports and marine environment knowledge. During peak season, activities will take place from 12 PM to 2 PM and from 3 PM to 7 PM.
In the summer of 2025, a total of 1,118 people participated in these activities, solidifying the Zona de Banys del Fòrum as a safe and reference space for citizens.
In parallel, the new social kiosk is now operational. This space is designed to support social revitalization projects and includes an adapted public restroom and a pergola. It promotes a responsible consumption model by not selling alcoholic beverages, prohibiting smoking on the terrace, and implementing a deposit and return system of 1 euro per reusable cup for takeaway drinks, thereby contributing to waste reduction.
The kiosk will be open daily from 10 AM to 9 PM until the end of the bathing season. These new services complement the improvements already implemented at the Zona de Banys del Fòrum, which opened to the public last June.
