The primary objective of this intervention is to bolster the safety of cyclists and hikers, alongside improving the overall condition of the greenway. Some existing fences had shown signs of wear due to time and the area's climatic conditions.
This initiative addresses the needs expressed by the county councils of Terra Alta and Baix Ebre, which are responsible for managing this significant cycling route. The Via Verda de la Val de Zafán serves as a vital resource for sustainable tourism in Terres de l’Ebre, promoting non-motorized mobility and the exploration of the region's natural and scenic heritage.
The supplied materials will facilitate the replacement of deteriorated fences at various points along the route, ensuring the infrastructure's quality and safety for its visitors.
