After securing a spot in the promotion play-off to the Second Federation on the final league day, CE L'Hospitalet is preparing to face the decisive phase of the season. The team from L'Hospitalet achieved their qualification by drawing 0-0 against Unió Esportiva Cornellà at home.
Their first challenge will be CF Badalona, who finished the regular season in second place. L'Hospi has not managed to beat Badalona this season, with one draw at home and a defeat at Badalona's stadium. Despite this, coach Sergio Juste considers the opponent "a team built for promotion, like ours, and dangerous". Juste admitted that in the away game they struggled, "especially in the first half", but is confident they will "do better" this time, having learned from their mistakes.
The team will have all its players available for this crucial match, a fact the coach values positively at a key moment when the squad needs to be at peak performance.
“"The team had a click a few weeks ago, and now we are much more solid. It's harder for them to score against us, which is important in the play-off, and we are growing. We hope to continue this process."
The match, scheduled for Sunday the 17th at 12:30 PM, represents L'Hospi's first step towards promotion to the Second Federation next season. The game between Centre d'Esports L'Hospitalet and Club de Futbol Badalona can be followed live on Televisió de L'Hospitalet, L'H digital, and via the La Xarxa+ platform.
