Lawyer Magda Oranich presents her new book Totes les batalles. Memòries in Barcelona, a work collecting her experience defending human rights during the dictatorship and transition.

Renowned jurist Magda Oranich has published her life experiences titled Totes les batalles. Memòries, published by Columna. In this volume, the author recalls her beginnings at the Faculty of Law and her time visiting prisons such as Trinitat, where she was once imprisoned.
The work highlights historical cases such as the execution of Salvador Puig Antich and the firing squad execution of Jon Paredes Manot, known as 'Txiki', in September 1975. Oranich reflects on the severity of military courts during that era.

"I have tried not to talk about myself, but I have always thought that we must explain to young people what a dictatorship was."

Beyond her role as a defender of political prisoners, the book addresses her feminist activism. The lawyer recalls how laws of the time forced women to obey their husbands and how her generation fought to change these brutal codes.
