The Guardia Urbana arrested a man this Sunday in the Eixample district of Barcelona for allegedly breaking into a vehicle and stealing technological equipment valued at nearly 37,000 euros.

The incident took place on the morning of March 22nd. The suspect forced entry into a parked car to seize several high-value electronic devices. After completing the theft, the criminal fled the scene with the equipment.
The victim immediately contacted the police, and the recovery was made possible through technology. One of the stolen devices had an active geolocation system, allowing Guardia Urbana officers to pinpoint the thief's exact location.
Officers successfully located the suspect and recovered all the stolen items, which have been returned to the owner. Separately, police also reported stopping a fake taxi driver in Sant Andreu who was driving without a license and tested positive for drugs.
