The Barcelona Court sentenced a man this Thursday to six months in prison for assaulting and insulting three Jehovah's Witnesses at a storage facility in October 2023.

The incident took place on October 1, 2023, when the convict encountered the group and attacked them after confirming their religious affiliation. One victim was punched while trying to protect the others from the aggressor's verbal and physical violence.
The sentence includes a 630-euro fine and a 500-euro compensation for moral damages. The prison term has been suspended for two years on the condition that the individual does not commit any further crimes during this period.

"The attack was based on feelings of rejection and intolerance towards the religious confession of the victims."
