Around 200 individuals, organized by the Platform Enough of Imperialist Aggressions, gathered this Sunday outside the United States consulate in Barcelona demanding the immediate release of Nicolás Maduro.

The demonstration, held this past Sunday, was organized by the Plataforma Basta de Agresiones Imperialistas (Platform Enough of Imperialist Aggressions). The main goal was to respond to the “aggression” of the Donald Trump administration and demand the immediate release of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife.

To react to the escalation of threats and aggressions by Trump against Venezuela and other countries.

The protesters chanted slogans against the international policy of the US government and urged Catalan, Spanish, and global institutions to take action. They specifically denounced the “threats and aggressions” carried out by the Trump administration against Venezuela and other nations.
This concentration in Barcelona serves as a prelude to a larger demonstration that the same platform, which brings together a hundred civic and social entities, parties, and unions, has called for the upcoming Saturday, also in the Catalan capital.
