The Orfeó Català and the Cor de Cambra del Palau de la Música Catalana achieved a historic milestone this February by performing for the first time in the United States at Los Angeles.

Led by conductor Gustavo Dudamel, the choirs performed Beethoven's Missa Solemnis at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The ensemble was accompanied by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Among the performers was baritone Albert Pàmies, who also played the piano during a secondary performance at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.
The tour was marked by high expectations and a warm reception from the American public. A notable highlight was the visit of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, a friend of Dudamel, who attended a concert and personally congratulated the singers on their performance.
