A new information point managed by Adif has opened at the Vallbona neighborhood center to assist residents affected by the incident at the R2 railway track burial works.

Starting this Thursday, residents of Vallbona have an information point at the neighborhood center, located at Carrer d'Oristà, 8. This space, provided by the Barcelona City Council, aims to inform about the incident that occurred yesterday concerning the railway track burial works for the R2 line in the Nou Barris district.
Adif technicians will assist citizens from Monday to Friday, between 5 PM and 7 PM. The objective is to answer questions about the current status of the work and the actions being taken in the area.
The incident occurred yesterday, Wednesday, July 22nd, around 2 PM, when Barcelona Firefighters received a report of a sinkhole near the track burial works that Adif is carrying out near Plaça del Primer de Maig.
In addition to members of the Firefighters and the Urban Guard, the mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni; the deputy mayor, Laia Bonet; the councilor for the Nou Barris district, Xavier Marcè, and municipal technicians were present at the scene to monitor the situation.
