The Tradicionàrius Festival in Barcelona has dedicated its 2026 edition to the traditional sounds of the Pyrenees, hosting a variety of performances at the CAT in Gràcia until March 27th.

This weekend features the group Sorguen on Friday, February 27th, followed by a specialized workshop on Pyrenean wind instruments on Saturday. The festival aims to showcase the cultural diversity of the mountain range's valleys through contemporary folk interpretations.
Key highlights include a tribute to the late musician Jordi Fàbregas and a performance by Artur Blasco and Cati Plana on March 13th. The program also features La balada d'en Solé Sugranyes, a musical piece commemorating the 50th anniversary of the anarchist activist's death.
The festival will conclude on March 27th with a parade through the streets of Gràcia and a final concert by Orquestrina Trama, a prominent folk ensemble from the Alt Urgell and Cerdanya regions.
