The city of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat recorded 76,426 parking operations via mobile app between January 1st and February 6th, 2026, marking a 505% increase compared to last year.

The massive adoption of the AMB Aparcament Residents app follows a system overhaul launched in October 2025. Residents no longer require physical stickers on their windshields, as the new digital model provides free weekly permits through smartphones or street meters.
The Santa Eulàlia neighborhood leads the rankings with 18% of total usage, followed by the Centre, Sant Josep, and Pubilla Cases districts. These areas have seen a significant expansion of 'green' and 'blue' parking zones to manage high population density and commercial activity.
Statistics show that 53% of digital tickets are for single-day stays, while weekly permits account for 37%. Sundays are the busiest days for the service, representing 22% of all activity within the city's network of over 7,100 resident parking spaces.
