Roller hockey from Girona kicks off with SHUM and Lloret in OK Liga

The teams from Maçanet and Lloret know their rivals and start dates for the new season of the top competition.

The Girona regions will have two representatives in the top tier of roller hockey: SHUM Frit Ravich, who secured their place, and Lloret, who will debut at home against Rivas.

The OK Liga roller hockey league will begin on the weekend of October 30th and November 1st, with the confirmed presence of two teams from Girona. SHUM Frit Ravich, who achieved a commendable permanence last season, will debut at home, hosting Rivas from Madrid. Meanwhile, Lloret, having secured promotion, faces a tough away game against Noia Freixenet.
The first local derby between Lloret and SHUM will take place on matchday six, in Lloret. The return match in Maçanet is scheduled for the nineteenth matchday. The competition will feature Jordi Garcia as the coach for SHUM.
Regarding the OK Liga Plata, the Girona representation has decreased. B-Sensible Olot and GEiEG have been placed in the North Group along with Tordera. The first matchday includes a clash between Olot and Tordera, while GEiEG will host Vila-seca. Corredor Mató Palafrugell will compete in the South group, hosting Mataró. This competition is set to commence at the end of September.
It is worth remembering that the men's and women's Spanish Super Cup will be held in Olot from October 23rd to 25th.
