The Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona hosted the Manifest Concert for Palestine on January 29, a massive fundraising event featuring a surprise performance by Rosalía and statements from figures like Pep Guardiola.

The surprise appearance by Rosalía was the highlight of the night. The artist, who had not been announced, thrilled the audience at Sant Jordi when she performed the track La perla, from her latest work Lux. She performed dressed in black and white, accompanied by a small group of musicians.

"Good evening, Barcelona. Today it is an honor to take this stage."

Rosalía · Artist
The manifest concert, the central event of the Act x Palestine campaign, was structured like an opera (prelude, prologue, three acts, and epilogue), alternating music with audiovisuals and speeches. The campaign's goal is to raise funds for Palestinian organizations and promote the reconstruction of cultural projects in Gaza and the West Bank.

"We stand before the world to show that we are on the side of the weakest, who in this case are the Palestinians."

Pep Guardiola · Football Coach
The night featured a cross-section of the Catalan and international music scene, including Morad, Bad Gyal, Oques Grasses (who performed La gent que estimo), Mushka, Lluís Llach, Fermín Muguruza, and the Malian Tuareg group Tinariwen. There were also interventions by figures such as actor Eduard Fernández and Gaza activist Kayed Hammad, and a performance by La Fura dels Baus symbolizing the suffocation of the Palestinian people.
