Metro service on the L9/10 North line will be normalized tomorrow, Monday, September 7th, in the section between La Sagrera and Bon Pastor. This restoration follows the completion of works carried out at the line's main shaft, which had affected train circulation.
The interventions were carried out in two phases. The first, from June 25th to August 30th, focused on the section between La Sagrera and Onze de Setembre. The second phase, lasting one week (from August 31st to September 6th), extended the closure to Bon Pastor.
These works, promoted by the Department of Territory, Housing, and Ecological Transition of the Generalitat de Catalunya, are part of the project to connect the northern branches with the central section of the L9/10. The budget allocated for this intervention amounts to 22.6 million euros.
During the closure period, TMB provided an alternative bus service to cover the affected route. Average daily validations on this section during July were 3,295, while in August they were 2,386.
