The complete program for the VIII Symposium on Architecture, Engineering, and Health is now available. The event will take place on October 1st at the Roca Barcelona Gallery. The conference, promoted by the Catalan Association of Health Entities (ACES) with the support of ENGINYERS BCN as a sponsor, aims to gather professionals from the fields of architecture, engineering, and health.
The main objective is to analyze how built spaces can actively contribute to people's well-being and care. The program includes an inaugural conference and several debate panels. Topics such as environmental health, neuroarchitecture, the role of healthcare facilities as spaces of care, and the connection between urbanism and public health will be addressed.
These sessions will offer a multidisciplinary perspective on current challenges and future opportunities in designing healthy environments. Notable participants include Joaquim Teruel, president of the Governing Board of the Health Commission of ENGINYERS BCN, who will moderate one of the round tables focusing on the influence of healthcare environments on the emotional well-being of patients and professionals.
