The union organizations have launched a calendar of protests with the premise that the school year will not end normally. These actions aim to pressure the Department of Education to reopen negotiations on the working conditions of teaching staff.

The unions have made it clear that they will only call off the strikes if a satisfactory agreement is reached. They demand effective negotiation that includes a significant salary increase and a clear implementation schedule. They also call for more resources for inclusive education and a more ambitious reduction in student-to-teacher ratios.
As part of the mobilizations, the four organizations occupied the headquarters of the Consorci de Barcelona early in the morning. The protests include three unitary strikes throughout the territory and staggered calls by area, ensuring that all teaching staff participate in five days of strike action. This model, which emerged from a consultation with educational staff, seeks to maintain pressure without exhausting the collective.
Throughout the day, teachers from various locations have carried out actions such as occupying territorial centers and blocking roads. In L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, teachers who have opposed the pilot plan to send Mossos d'Esquadra to schools, blocked traffic on Sant Rafael street, at the height of Isabel la Católica avenue, under the slogan "public and quality education".
Other actions have been registered in Sabadell, with a concentration in front of the Institut Escola Joan Sallarès i Pla, and in Barcelona, where the Institut Martí Pous has held classes in Plaça Orfila. Spontaneous road blockades have also occurred in Sants and les Corts, and a protest lunch is expected in Igualada.
