Nearly 400 education professionals blocked the Ronda de Dalt highway in Santa Coloma de Gramenet early this March 20, marking the start of the fifth day of sector-wide strikes.

The protest began before 7:00 AM near the Trinitat junction, halting traffic in both directions. Similar disruptions occurred later in the morning at Vall d'Hebron and Esplugues de Llobregat, causing significant delays for commuters entering Barcelona.
Public transport was also impacted, with TMB reporting that the V21 bus line had to limit its route, skipping several stops. Other lines, including the H4, 27, 60, and 76, also faced delays due to the demonstrations.
Beyond the metropolitan area, protesters blocked the C-17 highway in Gurb and the A-2 in Abrera. These actions are part of a series of mobilizations scheduled to conclude with a major rally in front of the Catalan Parliament.
