Thousands of workers gathered in Barcelona this May Day, under the slogan 'Against wars and fascism, more rights and more unionism', to demand peace, housing, and decent wages.

The mobilization, organized by the main unions CCOO and UGT, focused on three fundamental demands: peace, accessible housing, and fair wages. Union leaders expressed their concern about the impact of global conflicts on the working class and criticized far-right policies, taking the opportunity to denounce the housing crisis.

The march in the Catalan capital began in Plaça Urquinaona and proceeded along Via Laietana, making a symbolic stop in front of Foment del Treball. In addition to Barcelona, CCOO and UGT also called for demonstrations in other Catalan towns such as Tarragona, Girona, Lleida, Terrassa, Tortosa, Igualada, and Reus, as well as in various parts of the country.
