The Tibidabo Amusement Park organized its first Festival of Letters this weekend, offering literary activities and discounts to promote reading in an emblematic setting in Barcelona.

This cultural initiative, held in one of Barcelona's most iconic locations, aimed to merge reading, culture, and leisure. The proposal, designed for all ages, included various activities related to the literary world and special offers for visitors, with the primary goal of encouraging reading habits, especially among children.
The celebration coincided with the park's 125th anniversary and also served to promote the new giant Barcelona letters located at the Panoramic Area viewpoint. This new feature has become one of the main attractions of the event, capturing public attention. To enhance its visibility, the park launched a photography contest, inviting visitors to immortalize the letters. Winners will receive a double annual pass to enjoy the attractions of the Panoramic Area and the Cuca de Llum funicular.
The weekend's program was varied, with a clear focus on fostering children's reading. Among the highlighted activities, a book exchange stall was set up, where participants who brought a book received a 30% discount on the entrance fee. This measure, in addition to being sustainable, allowed visitors to discover new literary works.

"Reading is very important, especially for children, and it's not always possible to buy all the books they would like."

The Festival of Letters also included the premiere of The Forgotten Legend, a narrative experience connecting the tradition of Sant Jordi with imagination. Furthermore, younger visitors could participate in a workshop to paint and personalize their own bookmarks, adding a creative component to a day where reading and fun came together at Tibidabo.
