The Gràcia Festivities are fast approaching, and TMB recommends using public transport, particularly the metro, to access the decorated streets. Service and schedule enhancements have been planned for the celebration.
The L3 metro line will see the most significant improvements, with an increase of up to 10% in service during certain hours. The Lesseps, Fontana, and Diagonal stations are closest to the main activity hubs. Access will also be available via the L4 ( Joanic station) and L5 ( Diagonal and Verdaguer stations).
One of the notable measures will be the extension of metro service for 67 consecutive hours, from Friday, August 21st, to Sunday, August 23rd. This will cover the final events, including the light shows and the correfoc (fire run) scheduled for Friday at 11:30 PM in Plaça de la Vila. Trains will run from 5 AM on Friday until midnight on Sunday.
In addition to the metro, TMB reminds the public that several regular bus lines also serve the Gràcia neighborhood, including D40, D50, H6, H8, H10, V15, V17, V19, 6, 7, 19, 22, 24, 27, 33, 34, 39, 47, 114, and 116.
TMB advises users to plan their journeys in advance, considering potential disruptions due to ongoing improvement works on the metro network during the summer.
