Martí Sarrate, president of the fair and vice-president of ACAVE, has identified the most cost-effective international destinations. Thailand remains a top choice due to excellent connectivity and a strong Euro, with 10-day trips costing between 1,500 and 2,000 euros.
“"Services and gastronomy are quite cheap and, with the euro being so strong, the traveler gains purchasing power during their stay."
Other recommended spots include Egypt and Turkey, where prices range from 1,200 to 1,400 euros. Egypt continues to attract visitors with its Nile cruises, while Turkey offers a unique mix of shopping and history in Istanbul and Cappadocia.
In the Americas, Mexico and Peru are highlighted for their gastronomy, with budgets around 2,000 euros. Meanwhile, interest in the United States has slightly decreased due to geopolitical factors, despite a favorable 15% currency exchange rate for Europeans.
