TRAM Service Disruptions in Barcelona This Sunday Due to Diagonal Race

TRAM service in Barcelona will face disruptions this Sunday, May 24th, because of the 12th edition of the Diagonal DIR - Guàrdia Urbana Race, which will interrupt several lines.

This coming Sunday, May 24th, TRAM service in Barcelona will experience significant interruptions due to the celebration of the 12th Diagonal DIR - Guàrdia Urbana Race. Restrictions will affect both the Trambaix and Trambesòs networks during the morning, aiming to ensure participant safety and facilitate the sporting event.
On the Trambaix network, covering lines T1, T2, and T3, service will be suspended between the Francesc Macià and Ernest Lluch stops. This disruption is expected to last from approximately 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
Meanwhile, on the Trambesòs network, alterations will occur between 7:30 AM and 11:00 AM. Specifically, on line T4, service will be suspended between Verdaguer and El Maresme. Lines T5 and T6 will also face interruptions, with no tram service between Glòries and Ciutadella | Vila Olímpica.
TRAM has announced that it expects to restore normal service by 9:30 AM on the Trambaix network and from 11:00 AM on the Trambesòs network. However, the company reminds users that these times are approximate and full service restoration will depend on the race's progress and the guidance from organizers and the Guàrdia Urbana.
