Former US President, Donald Trump, has resumed his criticism of Spain regarding its stance on the conflict with Iran. Through his social network Truth Social, Trump referred to information from last March about the Spanish Government's refusal to allow the use of military bases on its territory for potential actions against the Iranian country.
“"They were not there for us."
This statement, which reignites diplomatic tensions between both countries, comes at a time when the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, is holding various meetings in Barcelona. The objective of these gatherings is to promote an international left-wing front that defends democracy and opposes the policies of the former American leader.
