The Guàrdia Urbana has arrested two men in Barcelona's Poble-sec neighborhood for receiving stolen goods, caught in the act of trying to sell 33 stolen mobile phones.

The police operation began when an undercover patrol followed the two men from Ciutat Vella. The officers, who knew them from previous interventions, stopped them in the Sants-Montjuïc district. There, they confirmed that one of the individuals was attempting to sell the phones to the other, leading to their arrest.
According to the Guàrdia Urbana, one of the detainees had acquired the devices through an online platform. The municipal police verified that the phones were listed as stolen.
The officers have contacted several of the victims to inform them about the procedure for recovering their devices.
