The small museum, installed for years in the bathrooms of Bodega Molina (located at Plaça Molina, 1), is a biographical maze of original covers and clippings from the magazine ¡Hola!. The experience is completed with background music featuring the singer's hits and tennis rackets used as door handles.
“"We are surprised by the news and we are awaiting the evolution of events to see what we do with the space."
This installation, which until now was a “pilgrimage” site for many visitors, is titled “The Wonderful Life” on the bathroom door. Now, this vital summary of the artist sounds sarcastic in the wake of the scandal, especially with the prominent phrase inside: “Julio is watching you and you know it.”
The interior design is the work of Enric Rebordosa, a partner at Grup Confiteria and known for his philosophy that “the soul of a venue is the bathroom.” For the time being, the managers of Bodega Molina have already removed the singer's photographs from their social media as a first step in solidarity with the alleged victims.
