The company Aigües de Barcelona has launched Unada, a social project accelerator seeking innovative solutions to improve the quality of life for vulnerable groups in the Catalan capital.

This initiative aims to support local entities working directly in the field. In its first 2025 edition, the program focused on five critical areas: female labor insertion, digital training for youth, mental health for those over 45, water access for the homeless, and promoting tap water consumption.

"We conducted interviews to understand exactly what the value proposition of each program was."

Following a pre-acceleration phase, two proposals were selected to receive 80,000 euros in funding each. The first is ConnectaDona, a partnership between Factoria F5 and Formació i Treball using artificial intelligence to assist women at risk.
The second project, Itineraris amb Futur, is led by Associació Àgora and the Associació de Veïns de la Verneda. This proposal focuses on community revitalization in the Sant Martí de Provençals and Verneda i la Pau neighborhoods.
