The Generalitat and the transport company ALSA have committed to launching twelve new daily bus services between Berga and Barcelona starting in mid-April to resolve ongoing service issues.

The decision follows months of persistent demands from a commuter platform named after the film El 47. The new schedule adds six trips in each direction, focusing on peak hours to ensure no passenger is left behind at the bus stop due to full vehicles.

"We have achieved a decent minimum for the city, but it is still insufficient."

Beyond the new lines, ALSA has pledged to keep backup buses on standby and improve vehicle maintenance. Commuters are now calling on the Berguedà County Council to push for the full implementation of the ten express bus lines planned since 2023.
