The graffiti, which includes the message “La història ens donarà la raó” (History will prove us right) and the acronyms of the SEPC (Sindicat d’Estudiants dels Països Catalans), was discovered early in the morning. The political party has reported the incident to the media.
According to Vox, this act of vandalism could be linked to a previous event organized by the SEPC at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). At this event, drinks and food were offered under names such as “l’ETA” and “el Terra Lliure,” which prompted the Vox Parliamentary Group to announce that they would take the case to the prosecutor's office.
The event poster at the UAB detailed gastronomic offers such as the “Terra Lliure” menu, which included potatoes, a bikini sandwich, a beer, and a mixed drink for €6.5, and the “ETA” offer, with potatoes, a bikini sandwich, a calimocho, and another mixed drink for €7.
