The Gràcia neighborhood in Barcelona is hosting a week of cultural activities from December 12 to 19, focusing on the 16th Solidarity Fair, alongside concerts, film forums, and new art exhibitions.

The XVI Fira Festa Solidària (Solidarity Fair), organized by Gràcia Solidària, will take place on Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14 in Plaça Virreina, from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. This annual event brings together local NGOs to showcase their work and features children's workshops, storytelling, talks, and concerts, including performances by Brokens and Trio Musical.
Regarding exhibitions, the Biblioteca Jaume Fuster hosts the display Ana María Matute: quien no inventa no vive, which reviews the life of the Barcelona writer until January 11, 2026. Concurrently, the CC El Coll La Bruguera presents No haver-te conegut mai seria terrible, a collection of micro poems illustrated by Lluís Cadafalch, running until January 18, 2026.
Visual art is also featured with two shows. The Espai RADNOM exhibits Click, a collection of classic photographic equipment by artist Cristina Huguet. Furthermore, La Kontra inaugurates the collective exhibition La Penya, Refugi Creatiu on Saturday, December 13, which will include dance and live music interventions.
Among the week's notable events, the Ateneu Roig screens the film Earth (1998) by Deepa Mehta on Friday, December 12. On Saturday, December 13, the Festa per la Marató will fill Gran de Gràcia street with solidarity activities aimed at cancer research. Finally, on Tuesday, December 16, La Violeta will host a conference addressing the dilemmas of ICT and artificial intelligence.
