Actress Júlia Molins inaugurated the Festa Major de Sant Andreu de Palomar with an emotional speech that combined personal memories with the denunciation of global and local injustices.

Molins began her speech by recalling her childhood in Sant Andreu, from the nursery school El Palomar to the Escola Mestre Enric Gibert i Camins and the IES Valldemossa. She highlighted the importance of the Casal Catòlic and the Esbart Maragall, where she took her first steps on stage.
The speaker advocated for local commerce, mentioning her parents, owners of the herbalist shop Les Herbes, next to Fabra i Puig. She also cited the Club Natació Sant Andreu as a key location during her youth.

"A genocide against the people of Palestine orchestrated by Israel. A televised genocide of which we have all been accomplices. From here I want to shout: Freedom for Palestine!"

Molins dedicated part of the address to her grandfather, Eduard Molins, co-founder in 1998 of El Foment Sardanista Andreuenc, emphasizing his community spirit and his work at the former Fabra i Coats factory.
Finally, she called for attendees to enjoy the Festa Major and make it “a safe place for everyone,” demanding festivals free from sexist violence and urging the fight against the far-right, housing difficulties, and labor precarity.
