The Sant Andreu neighborhood will host the third edition of the Volta Canalla, a popular and free 5 km bike ride promoting active mobility next Monday, December 8th.

This event, now consolidated within the Festa Major (Major Festival), is organized by the Bicibús de Sant Andreu and the Bicicleta Club de Catalunya (BACC). It offers a flat route of just over five kilometers, open to all ages and designed to be accessible to families and children.
Following the success of the first two editions, which gathered hundreds of participants, the activity goes beyond sports. The main goal is to advocate for active mobility, road safety, and the recovery of public space for people, temporarily transforming the streets.

"To strengthen cycling culture and generate spaces where children and adults can move with confidence. Or, put another way, for children, families, and neighbors to enjoy healthier, quieter, and smoke-free streets."
