The Sant Andreu company, L’Esbord, brings the acclaimed production Folk as Queer to the Sant Andreu Teatre (SAT!), a dance proposal scheduled for this Friday and Saturday, December 19 and 20.

The production, which has already been recognized with the Delfí Colomé 2023 Award and selected for the Obrador d’Arrel at the Fira Mediterrània de Manresa 2024, is considered one of the highlights of the theater's dance season.
Four performers, three of whom trained at Esbart Maragall, take the stage to create a dialogue between the traditional body and the contemporary and digital. The goal is to reclaim traditional Catalan practices as a space for freedom and deep connection for the expression of dissident identity.

"It is a love song to traditional practices as spaces of emancipation."
